A Little Windy with My Cardi

First, let me say it was windy.  That explains the hair in my face.  Sorry Mom.  Growing up my mom was never pleased when my hair was in my face.  I didn’t realize until after the fact that every photo wearing the long cardi included hair in the face.  Sometimes that’s how it goes and you just have to roll with it.  Life being life, I find I have to “roll with it” a lot!

Second, isn’t this colorful cardi gorgeous?  Mixing colorful prints, swirls and and leopard work so well, don’t you think?  Without the cardi you have a cool, chic and elegant black and cream ensemble.  Add this beautiful print and it’s something still elegant but completely different.  See how easy it is to change this look?  You also have the added benefit of layers to ward off chill or shed when you’re feeling a little warm.  That checks a few boxes when the unexpected hot flash says hello.

I kept things pretty simple as a foundation for this pretty cardigan, but check out the way Chico’s styled it in the widget below.  They doubled down on the leopard!  So cool.  It proves a lot of a good thing is still a really good thing.  What do you think?
