More balloons!  I did what performers call a “quick change” between Monday’s all-black leather look and this outfit, with a goal of keeping a couple of balloons in the photos.  Despite my efforts, most were cropped out and left scattered on the digital floor in favor of close-ups of the outfit.

Now that fall is here faux fur vests are such a great accessories.  You can throw one over so many different outfits to change their look.  Without the vest, this look would just be a sweater over jeans – no big deal. With the vest – a more pulled-together, chic look.  Try one with a dress and see the way that dress completely changes.  I’m sure I’ll be styling mine in various ways over the next few months.

I’m so happy to bring my over-the-knee boots out of summer storage.  They’re another accessory that give a little extra something to cool weather looks.  I love this Nordstrom royal blue sweater, but it’s unfortunately sold out.  I’ve linked some others which are a bit more fitted and may actually make better choices under the vest.  It’s mostly about the color, not the particular sweater.
