“Synchronicity”, the “concept of multiple discovery” and “simultaneous thought” are different terms for the phenomenon of many people having the same idea at the same time.  Usually the terms are used for something relatively ground-breaking.  In this case it’s simply today’s look.  I found this striped dress and liked it for its loose, casual fit.  It was a little too loose though, so I added a little shape to it by tying on a shirt.  I thought blue denim would look good with the red and white stripes.  I may even have seen the look and subconsciously replicated it, but after we took these pictures I started seeing it all over Instagram.

I wore this in San Diego last week because this time of year the weather can be really chilly in along the coast while it’s really warm just a few miles inland.  I can easily untie the shirt and wear it if the temps cool down – sort of a variation on the layered dressing theme.

The hotter it gets in Arizona the happier I am with this dress.  My next task is finding a way to dress it up a bit for the office.  We’ll see. . .
