Christmas Red – is there a another color that issues in the holidays so prominently?  Apologies for rushing the Christmas Season but there is a method to my madness.  Holiday parties will be starting very soon and you’ll want to put together your looks right away.  I wanted to feature red, my favorite Christmas color, as my first foray into the season’s party looks.  I’ll feature more colors in the coming days, but this hue gets the inaugural nod.  Everything today is from Nordstrom.  I’ve mixed in a few price points and size options because isn’t it all about options?  And how about those party shoes?  I’d like a pair of each, please!

I was happy to see most stores waited to “don their gay apparel” until after Halloween, but those stores are decked out now.  How about your home?  Are you pulling out the decor yet?  We tend to wait to Thanksgiving weekend to dress up the house.  This year, with a new granddaughter due around the 29th, it looks as if we will be able to stick with our traditional schedule.  If the little sweetie decides to come early like her big sister did, who knows?  It’s an exciting time, whatever the timing!

Back to the parties, they’re always such a fun and integral part of the holiday season, from office parties to open houses, most weekends are filled with something!  The season is here – what are your favorite holiday party colors?
