Fringe was all over the place this past winter season and seems to be making an easy transition to spring.  I found the skirt a while back but didn’t like any of the tops I paired with it until I found this one at Nordstrom.  They were the perfect match.

I love the combination of black and cream or black and white because I love the crisp contrast of the two colors.    The color combo not only bridges the shift from winter to spring, but can easily move on to summer.  It’s the quintessentially classic color contrast.

On another note, I had a wonderful time with family this past weekend.  When I married my husband a zillion years ago, I also got two wonderful daughters in the deal.  We celebrated the marriage of my younger step-daughter this weekend.  Most of the family was there, and it was so much fun.  If you follow me on Instagram, I’ve posted a couple photos.  To be honest – I was having too much fun to stop and take many pictures!  I’m always happiest when spending time with family.  over the past few years they’ve been moving and spreading out a bit and time together is so much more precious.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well.  Thanks for stopping by.

Helen
