Do you ever think of grey as a neutral?  Years ago grey was the backdrop for my home decor.  I had grey walls (remember when faux-finished walls were all the rage?).  I also had grey floors which I had painted to look like stone, right down to the grout lines.  I liked grey as my foundation because everything seemed to go with it.

When it comes to a clothing scheme, I like grey because you can layer different shades to achieve depth and visual interest.  It’s also another way to sneak white into your fall outfits.  🙂  Grey hasn’t cornered the market on this idea; you can create a similar look using any neutral (or some non-neutrals) and get a chic, pulled-together outfit without a lot of effort.  Side note: I think over-the-knee boots are so cool, and I’m so happy to see they’re still in the fashion mix.  To me, they’re just fun, and can’t we all use a little more fun in our lives?

Speaking of fun, we have some fun family events coming up in the next several of weeks.  I’m hoping to get some fun pictures to share with you.  Family has always been so important to me.  My favorite times are those when we’re all together.  No people make me laugh more; no people warm my heart more.  I’m looking forward to some meaningful time with some of the people I love most in the world!

Thanks so much for visiting today!  The fact that you take time out of your busy day to read my little blog means so much to me. <3
