Can you believe Labor Day is just around the corner? I’ve been out of school for a while now but I still remember that slightly melancholy feeling I’d get as a schoolgirl when the days shortened and my endless summer came to a close.
Today the end of summer means about six more weeks of really warm weather before the wind shifts and we get those cool, northern breezes. It also means Labor Day weekend and the Annual Greenwell Dove Fry.
Our Labor Day is very laid back and this outfit matches the mood. It’s about spending time with family and watching the little ones play together and have a good time. There’s no dressing up – casual comfort rules the day. Sales also rule the day – almost everything I’m wearing is at least 50% off!
