I’ve enjoyed watching the menswear revival from the sidelines, but I haven’t had much gumption to jump in.  To be honest, it felt like we’d just been through that style.  Maybe that’s just a case of time flying by quickly.  Regardless, I finally decided, “what the heck” and added my offering to the fray, dressing down the pinstripe suit by shunning the jacket and adding a casual denim shirt.  I couldn’t resist capping off the menswear look. literally, with a black fedora.  It seemed like the obvious accessory so why not?

If I look a little sullen here it was only because smiling hurt.  I’m coming off dental gum surgery with a bit of a swollen left side.  I’m trying to minimize that fact in these photos with a clever tilt of the head, but I’ll admit it wasn’t too well done.  Good and bad news – my face is basically back to normal, but a nasty cold has me knocked down again.  It seems as if everyone I know has had a hard time shaking this one.  I’m on the mend, I think.  If you’ve had a bit of this, I hope you’re on the mend as well.
