It’s funny how a particular color seems to suddenly speak to me.  I find myself drawn to it and, before I realize it, the hue has overtaken my wardrobe.  “Overtaken” may be too strong a description, even “theme” might be too much, but certainly “influenced” could describe pink’s existence in my closet.

Pink doesn’t usually come to mind when I think of women my age, but here it is, in the form of a coat, on me.  And on several hangers in my closet.  And in several blog posts over the last few weeks.

Here again I’ve used a black sweater and pants as my outfit foundation and added a statement piece to keep the look fresh.  Are you finding, as I have, that you can really stretch your wardrobe by re-working the basics with standout pieces? I hope you’re tapping into your creative side!
