Every once in a while you find a killer deal.  This happened to me the other day when I ran into my local shopping “club” store to grab chicken and dog food.  How’s that for a random list?  Someone didn’t plan her shopping very well!  Oops.  Anyway, I’m rushing to the pet section when BOOM!  I see this amazing red coat.  LOVE!!!  It’s not the place I usually find (or even think of finding) a cute fashion piece.  The price was crazy fantastic – under $30!!  Yes, it’s probably not the warmest coat out there, but the coldest weather I’m going to see is 30 degrees here in the southwest, so obviously I grabbed it!

Unfortunately, this amazing deal was gone by the end of the day, but I was able to find a near-perfect substitute for under $120, and another in even brighter red for under $100!

I guess my take-away from this is you never know when and where you’ll find a piece that inspires you, and it doesn’t have to be a luxury splurge.  Oh, and you can do a lot of fun things with a simple scarf.  I thought the asymmetric scarf look was kind of fun and different.
