Last month my friend Kim Zamora approached me about a joint venture of sorts, featuring her Silpada jewelry business and Haute Business.  Of course I jumped at the chance! This wasn’t a traditional Silpada Party. It was held at local wine shop and tasting room, the Old Town Wine Cellar, which is such a wonderful and unique setting.  The owners have curated a fantastic selection of wines from around the world, and each week feature six selections in their wine tastings.

The evening was a lot of fun.  First and foremost, I was able to spend it with some very good friends, and I also had the opportunity to meet some wonderful ladies.  Second, there was wine and jewelry!  Third, I got to put together several different looks to feature some of the amazing Silpada jewelry.  There wasn’t enough room to show them all here, so prepare to see a few more from the evening in future posts.

On top of all of that, I had the opportunity to work with a professional photographer, Kim’s beautiful daughter Mallory.  (My husband Andy is my usual photographer.  Neither of us have any experience with a camera so we’ve been bumbling our way through a really steep learning curve over the last several months!)

Mallory was fantastic.  I really appreciate the fact that she took time away from activities she had planned that evening to take all of these pictures.  What a sweetheart!  Thanks so much Mallory!

So, back to the jewelry!  Silpada has such a large selection.  I was surprised to learn that selection includes watches like the super cool Black on Black Watch I’m showing above.  Several of the pieces I’m wearing will be retiring soon, so if you see something you love, it’s best to act quickly!
