Don’t you just love summer whites? I know I do! White is so clean and crisp, and somehow I feel cooler in it. It’s purely psychological I know, but I’m fine with that. I also fine with breaking up an all-white outfit with a little color. Whether something bright or something understated, a little accent pays big dividends which is why the subtle blues in my cardigan make more of an impact here.
We desert-dwellers joke about how thin our blood must be to tolerate the solid blast of triple digit temperatures from June-September. When I head to the coast evenings can feel a little chilly. I absolutely love that feeling, but I like the option of a light cardigan or jacket when “chilly” turns to “cold.” Yes, I’ve become a bit of a wimp. Just a bit, though: this sweater is lightweight and so soft. Actually, it’s also perfect for the overly air-conditioned indoors as well.
