Transitional Plaid

Don’t you love mixing business and pleasure? These J.Jill cuffed plaid pants help me with that combination. They look like trousers but feel like your favorite pair of yoga pants. We know how great that can be, especially when you’ve got a long day stretching out before you. I’m thinking office, travel, or a casual day when you want to look sharp but feel comfortable.

J.Jill does it right with these plaid pants. The fabric weight and color combination help make a great transition to fall. To help showcase their split personality, I’ve styled them with cute J.Jill suede mules in camel for pleasure and the iconic Christian Louboutin So Kate pump in nude for business. I finished the look with a versatile J.Jill relaxed shirttail blouse in rose quartz, which works for either look. Slam, dunk.

What are your favorite fall transition looks? Since I’ll be dealing with triple digits for another few weeks, it’s more of a challenge to create outfits that look like fall but work in the sweltering heat. I like this transitional plaid, and the color tan bridges the seasons very well. Although I paired the pants with a pink tunic, a black sweater is going to look great. When I can stand putting one on, I’ll show the combo. 🙂

Thanks for visiting!
