You may have noticed I’m repeating major pieces lately.  Why? Because that’s reality.  Few of us have the budget (or the frivolity) to wear something once and never again.  The challenge, then, is to give our do-overs a new look.  A couple of weeks ago I showed this white culotte jumpsuit with a graphic print scarf here.  By trading that scarf for this cognac faux suede jacket, I get a fresh, new look without breaking the bank.  Doesn’t that make sense (and cents?)

Are you like me?  I’m not one to put away my white clothes with a change in seasons.  By mixing it with traditional fall colors, white is at home all season long.  Again, it’s another way to get more mileage out of your existing wardrobe while keeping it looking new.  Something happens when I do this:  I look at everything in my closet with a new eye, which helps get the creative juices flowing.  Isn’t that a lot of what fashion is about?

How about you?  What favorite pieces do you regularly remix?  Or is that a fashion idea you haven’t tried yet?  I hope you’ll consider it in the future!

Happy Friday, and thank you for visiting!

Helen

    1. Right there with you, Jodie! It’s fun to find ways to where white in those times you wouldn’t normally see it. I think it keeps looks fresh and crisp!

    1. Thanks, Natassia. I appreciate your sweet comments. This color is so fun and fall-feeling, and one I don’t wear often enough. I need to change that!
