I’m sometimes stunned by the differences in weather across our country.  This weekend an Arctic blast was set to pummel the Midwest and Northeast.  Meanwhile in Arizona and California we were experiencing highs in the high 80s and low 90s.  Crazy!  It got me thinking of winter to spring outfit options.  Maybe winter to summer makes more sense. . .

I remember hearing someone say, “If you find cashmere on sale, buy it!”  Well, now is that time.  This gorgeous blue sweater is on sale for $50, comes in an assortment of colors, and feels divine.  I love the way the slit on the sides adds that extra something to the basic crew neck style.

One of the easiest ways to take a winter outfit into spring is to add floral prints.  These Steve Madden shoes fit the bill perfectly.  I was really excited to slip heels on again, but I’m nowhere near ready to walk in them.  You can probably tell – I’m still a little awkward in anything but flats.  Sigh.  The therapy continues.  I’m amazed by how weak my injured knee is.  One of my therapy exercises is to stand on the recovering leg while pivoting at the hip and reaching to something on a bench a couple of feet in front of me.  That leg shakes like crazy.  I have my work cut out for me over the next few weeks.  Post surgery therapy isn’t easy, but it is absolutely necessary for recovery.  Onward and upward.

I hope you have a happy Monday!
