I don’t take myself too seriously. That’s why I love fun looks like this. A while back I showed you some of my favorite black and blue pieces from the Nordstrom sale.  Here’s another way I’ve put the two colors together. Take basic, dark skinnies, and a silky blue top.  Okay, that works.  But add the edgy moto jacket and some black, heeled booties to really update your look.  Take it a step further with a black metal on black bag and you’re instantly chic.

Just when we were getting cold enough in the southwest to wear cooler weather clothes like the moto jacket, we had a warm Thanksgiving in the 80s.  Crazy, isn’t it?  We’re cooling again slightly in a couple of days. I’m  sure everyone on the east coast would think I’m ridiculous for saying this but I’d sure love some cooler weather.  Okay, not freezing, but a little cooler.  It’s almost December after all!

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I had a great time visiting two of our daughters and their families, including two of my wonderful grandchildren.  They are so adorable and they are growing and changing so quickly, it’s hard to keep up.  Being with family reminds me of the many things for which I’m thankful. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.
