Recently I featured this lace top with a black skirt for the office.  I wanted to show how versatile it is by pairing it with these distressed jeans for a denim and lace rough-meets-refined look.  I like the juxtaposition of dressy tops with jeans or casual tops with a nice skirt.  If you relax the rules a bit you get a lot of new and different looks from your closet.  Who doesn’t like a new look without spending money?

Speaking of not spending much money, who would have thought my favorite jeans would be the least expensive pair in my closet?  These Vigoss jeans are fantastic.  I was fortunate enough to grab mine on sale for less than $40!  Even now they’re under $70.  They’re very comfortable, have a body-con fit with a relaxed feel, and just the right amount of distressing.  I’ve linked a couple of variations below with different washes.  When the weather is cooler they’re the busiest item in my closet.
