Hello waist! I don’t have much of one, so when I find a skirt that gives the appearance of a waist, I’m on it. . .or it’s on me! Clearly this is my new favorite skirt, and in ever-versatile black and a season-less fabric, you can’t go wrong!
You know I’m the champion of non-boring office looks. It doesn’t have to get crazy (I’m an accountant, after all) but I do like a look that packs a little punch. Today’s office print does just that. Pick a small accent color out of the print for your shoes and you’ve got a business look that’s client-ready but far from basic. And because I’m wearing separates, I can get a lot of variety from these these two pieces.
In the interest of full disclosure (my inner-accountant rules again) you’ll be seeing a lot of pictures with this background for the next few months. Why? Convenience and weather. This is the front of my house. The weather suddenly turned bloody hot – the high was 117 the day of this photo shoot! It’s early June!! It’s so much easier to hop into the cool house to change looks and grab whatever accessories I need rather than pack it all up and head to another location. I’d like to say I’m practical rather than lazy, but I’ll reserve that judgment for you. 🙂
