“On Wednesdays we wear pink” is a favorite movie line lighting up Instagram posts every week.  Here’s my homage to the trend – a cute shirt dress from local favorite Cheekie Boutique. It’s not offered on the website, but the store’s contact information is available there to request one.  I’ve also linked several other similar dresses including a version with sleeves if you’d rather not go sleeveless.

I know I went crazy with options on almost everything today.  This look is so perfect for summer I wanted to present options I thought would work for just about anyone.  To keep the pink and neutral theme I wrapped my hat with pink grosgrain ribbon secured with double-sided tape.  If you take on that little project, make sure you pick a ribbon at least as wide as the ribbon on your hat.  1/8″ – 1/4″ wider would be even better.

By the way, the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts soon.  Cardholders get early access starting this Friday.  I’m excited to see what deals I can find!
