Don’t you love this season’s cute little rompers? The problem is, they really are little. For many of us, the styles are adorable but the shorts are a bit too short. What options are out there for those of us wanting a little more coverage? This little jumper from Dillard’st answers the call really well. It pulls up and drops down in one piece, so there’s no issue trying to fumble with buttons or zippers. That can make life much easier, especially when you’re out and about and say, needing to make a quick restroom stop.
Remember those jumpers we wore as kids? For those of you too young to know what I’m talking about, they were dresses designed to be worn over a top, sweater or blouse. If you were a budding fashionista (I was not) you could have taken advantage of the mix and match options and created a lot of looks from a single jumper. I see those possibilities here. All I did was trade out shoes to go from super casual to nicer casual. I also tried it with heels, which was cute, I just didn’t think the blouse I chose was the best option so I scrapped it for today’s feature.
I did include our lab, Tanner, in his first blog photo. 🙂 He’s finally past that puppy stage where he chews on everything and he’s becoming such a sweet boy. He’s a bit camera-shy, so getting him to sit still for a photo is a challenge but I have high hopes.
Are you working any rompers into your summer wardrobe? What have you found that works?
Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful weekend!
