For many of us Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of summer.   When I was growing up, we lived in an area with a neighborhood pool.  Ever year it opened on Memorial Day and closed on Labor Day.  That pretty well framed what we kids considered summer.

Now that summer has more or less begun, I find myself looking at blues again.  Not that I’m giving up on pinks, but for me suddenly blues are back.

The pattern of this light blue tank adds so much visual interest.  For jewelry, I wanted something that stood out against the pattern but wasn’t too busy since there is so much going on with the top. Unfortunately, my necklace is longer available so I’ve linked a similar option.
