I haven’t always been one to wear a watch. In fact, I didn’t wear a one for years. Instead I wore one of many pretty bracelets I’d collected over time. I didn’t want to set those aside for a watch! I mean, to tell time I always had clocks around, and when I was out and about I would use my cell phone. Who needed a watch?
Everything changed when my aunt gave me a watch owned by my grandmother. For sentimental reasons I wore it all the time, to the point of wearing out the clasp. Afraid of losing it, I retired Grandma’s watch but the seed had been sewn. Watches were back!
I was thrilled then, when Lindsey Wede approached me to collaborate on a timepiece with Keep Collective. She helped me put together this fun timepiece/band combination. The thin band is actually black, but it photographed navy blue. Weird. The lighting had to be the issue because the black and white striped box also looks more like navy. You can wear these three pieces four ways, as I’ve shown above. Talk about getting a lot of bang for your buck! Which combination is your favorite?
Lindsey has so many different styles and combinations you can put together, and watches aren’t the only items she features. Check out her website www.keepcollective.com/soc/ff0kk or find her on Instagram at @keepbylindsey
