The temperatures here have warmed a bit the last week or so. By “warm” I mean high 80s, low 90s. Isn’t that crazy? Naturally, I’m reaching for weather-appropriate clothes. Interesting how over the years “weather-appropriate” is determined more by texture and less by color.
I pulled this white dress out of the closet in the face of our early spring. I showed it several months ago with lighter accessories here. Because the calendar still says, “Winter,” I opted for a black belt and shoes rather than completely sell out to spring with pastels. That day will be here soon enough.
I’m having a challenge posting with any regularity right now. I apologize for that. It’s tax season, which is already demanding. I’ve added physical therapy to that, as I rehab my knee post-surgery. In and of itself, that isn’t horribly time-consuming.
The thing which surprises me the most is how tired I am. Maybe age factors in, although I have a hard time believing one year could make that much difference. I’m wondering if my body is focusing a lot of energy in the healing process, leaving the rest of me to fend for itself. Whatever the reason, although I start strong every morning, it seems as though I fade earlier in the day. It’s strange, because I usually have so much energy!
Is anyone else dealing with that feeling?
Whether you’re rested or exhausted, I hope your week is going well, thank you for stopping by!
