Here’s another fun Hi Lo look, featuring faux leather and other items from the Nordstrom sale.  Faux leather has improved so much over the years.  Remember when it looked more like the vinyl on Mom’s kitchen chairs?  Now it’s difficult to tell faux from real, which probably has vegans dancing for joy.  You can pick up “leather” leggings for a song (the Trouve’ offering is at an fabulous price point at less than $55), or splurge on something amazing like the Stella McCartney version above.  Leather leggings are a fall and winter perennial; you’ll be able to reach for them year after year and remain on trend.

Depending on the way they’re styled, you won’t have to worry about out-aging them, either.  The look above is relatively ageless, especially if you trade out to  lower-heeled booties or flats. Speaking of booties, the Steve Maddens (#8) are selling out quickly.  I’ve included an open toe option in case you can’t find your size.  The Steve Madden’s also run a size small, so keep that in mind as you’re ordering.
