Inspired by a look from Instagram, I’m revisiting a classic summer combination, jeans and a white jacket. If you’re not comfortable trying to carry off an all-white look, switch out the white pants for jeans. I prefer a dark rinse for this pairing, maybe because I admire the constrast, but a lighter shade of denim would also work well.

Go white on white with your white tee or tank under the white jacket and add a statement necklace like this fabulous French Kande offering. I love how this particular piece goes with almost everything in my closet.

I kept the shoes neutral here, although I couldn’t resist creating a little patriotic flair by going with a red-sole pair.  I think heels add to the chic appeal of the outfit, but you have to go with something you’re comfortable wearing.  This pair by Naturalizer would be a great option.  I finished with a pair of white sunnies because I liked the addition of another bit of white.  🙂  So there’s a little Monday inspiration for you!
