I can’t remember the last time I bought something gingham.  Isn’t that strange?  This pink check top seems to define the summer look, and it can be worn it with so many things.  It’s just so bright and cheery.

I love it with these white jeans.  The look is so crisp and clean.  I can also see it with shorts or a skirt in white, black or pink, and for that All-American look, wouldn’t denim be perfect!

Getting back into the swing after a fun three-day weekend is always a little tough.  I’ll confess I’m dragging a bit.  We went to a huge birthday party for an old friend Saturday, stayed up late every night and, for the first time in I don’t know how long, I slept in until 9am! Now I’m trying to get back into the routine.  Funny how quickly that can go sideways.

I hope your week is getting off to a smoother start than mine.  I have the aforementioned slow start and dogs barking (very loudly) for attention.  Off I go!
