I’m eking out my last few opportunities to wear faux fur and OTK boots today.  Would you believe our temperture hit 88 degrees yesterday?   Right after ground Hog Day, we were warned another six weeks of winter was on its way.  The rest of the country is feeling it, but did the southwest really need to be that contrary?  I’m not ready for summer yet!  We have a small respite coming, but I think winter has bid us good day.

Big things are happening in the family over the next week or two.  My grand nephew had his first birthday.  Our new little grandson will be making his appearance in a week or so, and I know my daughter is thinking it’s not a moment too soon!  Another daughter was recently engaged and, always the planner, she’s mapping it all out and asking her sister and I to help her search for The Dress.  As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m excited to be a part of The Fierce 50, and our day is coming up quickly.  Fun times!
