I’m so excited for Fall!  I may or may not already have some harvest decorations out.  Ha ha ha!  And when it comes to clothes, I may or may not have started transitioning last week.  🙂  This pair of flare jeans is one of the ways I’m doing just that, by combining them with fall colors like tan and burgundy.  Even though this top is short-sleeved, the color combination lends itself to autumn and helps bridge the seasons.  This top is out of stock, but I’ve linked similar options with the same summer-to-fall color combinations to help you with your transition look.

If you’re not long-legged, flares can visually shorten you and create an unflattering silhouette.  One way to counteract the effect is by keeping the inseam long and wearing heels or platforms to add leg length.  I could shorten these a little but I’ve opted to give myself every centimeter possible, letting the hem skim the ground as I walk.  I risk possibly creating a frayed edge where the fabric grazes the floor.  The length you choose could be that same trade-off.  Find the shoes you plan to wear with your flares then have them tailored to your most flattering length.  You may have to play with various combinations of shoes and lengths before you find the perfect option for you.

Have a wonderful Monday!
