There is something about navy in summer. Even when brights, whites and pastels rule the day, classic navy is always a summer staple. That doesn’t mean you can’t throw in a bright, white or pastel as an accent. Navy is similar to black in its ability to pair with almost any color, as I’ve shown here with my little pop of pink.
I’ve been on the hunt for cocktail/wedding guest dresses and the stores do not disappoint. Our local Dillard’s has an abundance of pretty dresses for the various special occasions of summer. What I like about this navy lace dress is versatility; it won’t be out of place if I choose to wear it this fall, or even this winter. The right wrap will take this dress right through the holidays, even though that season is far from the present mindset.
There are so many different variations on the navy lace theme I thought I’d link several below, including a 3/4-sleeve option if you’d prefer more arm coverage.
