Why did I wait so long to buy these red Hunter boots?  I’ve wanted them since I first saw them a couple of years ago.  They’re so fun and happy, and boy does that red pop!  I’ll buy things on a whim, so why do I sometimes agonize over buying something I really want?  I’m sure there’s a psychological study in there somewhere.  Regardless, I finally pulled the trigger and bought them. (Insert celebration emoji)

Two of my daughters have Hunter rain boots, both in black I think.  In fact, I borrowed a pair from one of the girls to show them here.  But this red gloss pair has been on my mind for some time.  I know they’re not as versatile as black, but I couldn’t help myself.

Regarding the delayed purchased, maybe I held off because the color is so specific.  Perhaps it’s because we get so little rain here.  In fact, rain is such a rare event, you’ll see people standing in their doorways staring and listening with wonder as the rain falls.  In this La Nina year we’re having more rain than normal, so I may get the opportunity to wear them a few times this season.  If not, I’ll get my money’s worth styling them here!  🙂
