Christmas season is upon us.  It’s a time of year when the color red is so prevalent, even Santa wears it!  As for Mrs. Claus?  I’m sure she wears red as well.  In fact, she would probably love this red flare sweater.  As a fan of this holiday hue I don’t need to wait for Christmas to find it in my closet, but in December it just feels so festive.  And in December I’m all about feeling festive.  I’m also all about feeling comfortable, and this sweater certainly meets that standard.  It’s a soft, non-bulky knit you’ll want to reach for again and again.

Besides the feel of the fabric, I love the silhouette of this sweater.  The handkerchief hem is so pretty and adds so much interest to what would be otherwise an attractive but plain turtleneck.  I don’t know about you, but I like adding that extra bit of interest.  I also prefer my doughnuts with icing, and maybe sprinkles, theoretically speaking. 🙂

For a little variety, can’t you see this sweater with skinny jeans or black leather pants?  I’m definitely planning to give them a try!
