Do you ever feel as though you have so much going on you can’t seem to get anything right? That’s been me lately. Case in point – today’s outfit. When I showed this great J.Jill top here, the idea was to edge it up with a moto jacket. But I also meant to show the top and skirt looks without the jacket. Well, I got halfway there. At least we took the photos, so I have the opportunity to show “the other half” today.
It also means you’ve seen this top (or a small part of it) three times. Overkill? Possibly, but look how versatile it is. You’ve heard me praise versatility a lot, because I love a piece I can wear many ways. You get more value when you can double down on your purchase. The financial planner in me thinks that make sense!
My Calvin Klein skirt has been a workhorse all season. It hits all my hot buttons – ease, comfort, versatile, all-season. Need I go on? With it’s wide, elastic waistband it also creates the illusion of a smaller waist – something I definitely do not have.
The next month are pretty crazy. Besides work deadlines and a slew of family birthdays, there’s a bridal shower for our youngest daughter and a new baby for our oldest daughter (grandbaby number six!!!). We’re over the moon! Life is hectic but oh so rewarding.
